CCI's AR (abrasive resistant) compound was developed with the engineering support and technical experience of chemists from the tire industry. The AR compound mimics the substance used in the tires of the giant “quarry loaders” where resistance to puncture, wear and chunking has been essential. Our suppliers have learned through the years that the same technology can be applied to our rubber lagging compounds.
